Subscribers

The Daily Wonder list now lives in a Resend Segment — a subscriber isn't an account holder, so we don't keep the list in our database. Resend owns the contacts, unsubscribe state, suppression, and open/click tracking.

How subscribing works now

Someone signs up at /newsletter → gets a confirmation email (double opt-in).
On confirm, they're added as a contact in the Segment + sent the welcome email.
Unsubscribes (from broadcasts or the welcome email) flip the contact in Resend automatically.
Compose & send issues as broadcasts from Compose & schedule.
